On Monday, 8 January, 2024 Margaret passed away peacefully in the Galway Hospice following wonderful care by staff at both the Hospice and GUH. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary and brothers Gerry and Tommy.

Deeply loved and sadly missed by her children Rebecca, Jason, Keif, Naomi and Nathan, son-in-law Daniel, daughter-in-law Marlen, grandchildren Chun-yiu, Hui-yen, Eoghan, Emily, Aidan, Alex, Theo, Lauren, Benjamin, Samuel, Levi, Cody, Addison and Mason, by her great-grandchildren Aria and Kai, sisters Anne and Josephine, brothers Sean and Shay, Nathan’s partner Antoinette, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her carers, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Thursday, 11 January, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cremation will take place on Friday, 12 January at 12 noon at Shannon Crematorium Eircode: V14 PV30. A Memorial Service will also be celebrated for Margaret on Friday afternoon in Galway at the Clayton Hotel (H91 D526) at 4.30 p.m. The Zoom link for this Service will open from 4 p.m. To log in: The meeting ID is: 869 0551 5828.
