Margarethe Owen, née  Sammon, “Cranog” Priorstate, Louth Village, Co. Louth and formerly of Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, in the Louth County Hospital, 20th August 2021.  Margarethe, beloved wife and best friend of David, step-mother of Gabrielle, step-granny of Sam and sister of Marie Sammon and the late Seamus, Macartan, and Dermot.  Margarethe will be sadly missed by her husband, step-daughter, step-grandson, sister, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Margarethe’s cortège leaves Mc Geough's Funeral Home at 10.30am on Monday morning, on the way to the church.
