O’FLYNN (The Cove, Baltimore and late of Cork City and Clashmore, Co. Waterford): On September 24th 2025 peacefully, after a long illness borne with great fortitude and good humour, in the loving care of Dennis and staff at Skibbereen Residential Care Centre. MARGO (nee Herlihy) beloved wife of Gerald (Ger), pre-deceased by her eldest son John, cherished mother of Peter, Richard, Geraldine and Patrick, and dear sister of Joan. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Claire, Nicola, Sally, Aidan, Elsie, Hanna, Holly, Izzy, Maya, Scott, Robbie and Sarah, great-granddaughter Emily, daughters-in-law Marie, Hilda and Yvonne, Geraldine’s partner Mike, extended family and friends.

Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Rath. (Dress in colour to celebrate Margo). This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Tullagh Cemetery.

Rest In Peace

Margo’s Funeral Cortege will leave her home in the Cove on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10.50am, passing the sailing club, Baltimore Village and onwards to the Sacred Heart Church, Rath.
