Maria Hanafin
(née Corbett)
HANAFIN (Bishopstown Avenue, Model Farm Road, Cork & formerly of Anglesborough, Co. Limerick): On March 27th, 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. MARIA (née Corbett), dearly beloved wife of the late Dermot, loving mother of Shane, Bill, Grainne, Dermot Óg and the late Finbarr, dear sister of Walter, Annette and Maurice.
Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Brendan, daughters-in-law Annmarie, Tessa and Grainne, her adored 11 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home in Bishopstown Avenue on Wednesday (March 29th) from 5.00ppm to 7.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (March 30th) in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy’s Cross which can be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
