Maria Magee (née Crinion) of “Katoomba”, Tomriland, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on 18th April 2026, surrounded by her loving children, in the wonderful care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice. A loving and devoted mother, caring daughter, wonderful friend and someone whose warmth, humour and generosity touched all who knew her. Deeply and sadly missed by her cherished children Bobby, Jimmy, Eoin, Abby and their father Seamus, daughters-in-law Darrell, Shannon and Emer and her adored grandchildren Kayleigh, Jordan and Rían, her heartbroken parents Derek and Ann, her brother Tony and nephew Oisín. Predeceased by her brother Robert. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, neighbours and her many close and wonderful friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital and Wicklow Hospice for their exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Maria and her family.

Reposing at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca Road, Rathdrum (A67 C562) on Monday, 20th April, from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.30am in St. Laurence O’Toole’s Church, Roundwood, followed by burial in Roundwood Cemetery. A recording of the Mass will be available to view from 6pm on Tuesday, link to follow. Family flowers only please.
