McCARTHY (née Lonergan) (Baltimore Road, Skibbereen, Co. Cork) March 20th 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Ashford House Nursing Home. Maria; dearly beloved wife of Con, much loved and devoted mother of Fergus and Paul. Predeceased by her brothers Noel and Teddy. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter -in-law Cath, grandchildren Jack, Lewis and Marcus, sister Helen, brother Brenden, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Tuesday (March 24th) from 5pm to 7pm (all welcome). A Celebration of Maria’s life will take place on Wednesday (March 25th) at 1.30pm in Glasnevin Crematorium.
