Sharkey, nee Thornton, Scarlet Cresent, Drogheda, Co Louth. Peacefully at her home, Maria beloved wife of John. Sadly missed by her loving husband, brother Philip, sisters Patricia, Jennifer, Antoinette and Elaine, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes from 6pm to 8pm Monday and Tuesday evening. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10am arriving to St. Mary’s Church, James Street for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Oncology Unit, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. House strictly private.
