KEARNEY (Blackrock, Cork): On 17th February, 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully at home MARIAN (Née Desmond, late of Eason’s, Patrick Street) reunited with her beloved husband and best friend, Martin (late of Cork Examiner), cherished mother of Paul, Humphrey and Suzanne (O’Sullivan).

 

Sadly missed by her loving family, her adored grandchildren Amy, Denis, Conor, Ailbhe, Hugo and Juliette, daughter-in-law Lizzie, son-in-law Rory, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing at Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O’Connor Ltd on Saturday (February 21st) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock on Monday (February 23rd) which can be viewed
