Marian Matthews
(née Cronin)
Marian Matthews (née Cronin), Pearse Park, Drogheda and formerly of Carnahone, Beaufort, Co. Kerry. 2nd August 2023. Peacefully at St. James Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Ken, parents Ellen and Nicholas, Aunt and Uncle Margaret and Sonny, sister Eileen and brother Danny. Marian loving mother of Noeleen and Christopher. She will be sadly missed by her son and daughter, son-in-law Noel, grandchildren Darragh, Cian and Ava, brothers Dermot, Joe, Brendan, John, sister Angela, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Marian former teacher and principal of Ballymakenny National School will be remembered by colleagues and past pupils.
May She rest in Peace.
Reposing at Townley Funeral Home, Crosslanes A92XN75, on Saturday from 4.30pm until 7pm.
Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Sunday at 1.30pm and can be viewed live at www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie with burial afterwards in St. Peter's Cemetery
