Marian Russell
(née Cronin)

On 5th December 2024 peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the team at Mercy University Hospital Cork, Marian, beloved wife of James (Christy), loving and much loved mother of Nóirín (Lynch), Maria (Geary), Finbarr and John, sister of Ann, Michael and Noreen. Pre-deceased by her parents May and Finbarr Cronin, Ballylickey, brother Ted, sisters-in-law Ann (Cronin) and Hanna-May (Collins), brothers-in-law Henry (Russell) and John (Russell) and nephew Adrian (Cronin). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brothers-in-law Paddy, Bill and Jerry, sisters-in-law Catherine, Noreen (Larkin), Maureen and Joanne, sons-in-law Eugene and John, daughter-in-law Rachael and Finbarr’s partner Shauna, her nine adored grandchildren Eoghan, Rós, Colm, Jane, Avery, Samuel, Sarah, James and Ollie, her aunt Nora (Ryan) in Manchester, all of her wonderful nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at Daly’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague on Sunday (8th) from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday (9th) at 1pm in Church of the Holy Family, Caheragh – livestreamed on http://www.corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to Caheragh new cemetery.
