The death has occurred of Marian Smith (nee O' Reilly), peacefully at her residence, Knockalla, Bailieborough Road, Virginia. Predeceased by her parents Michael Anthony and Molly (nee Plunkett), and most recently by her loving husband John Smith (26 January 2023). Sadly missed by her Auntie Barbara Lynch (Cavan), her Uncle Jimmy Plunkett (Ballyjamesduff) and her special cousin Tina Plunkett, her sisters in law Anne and Rosemary, John's niece and grandnieces,and all her many cousins, neighbours and her many dear friends, her ex - colleagues in Cavan County Council and Fine Gael.
May Marian Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Wednesday from 3 o'clock until prayers at 7 o'clock. Removal to Mary Immaculate Church Virginia on Thursday morning arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in Maghera Cemetery.
