Marie Byrne (née Eaton), Bray, Athy, Co Kildare passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family under the tender care of St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, on Friday the 17th January 2025. Predeceased by her husband Denis, brother Michael, sister Cora and baby granddaughter Niamh.

Marie will be sadly missed by her loving son Christy, granddaughters Katie, Julie, Eimear and Julie’s husband Stuart, daughter-in-law Brigid, sister Brenda, brothers Dominic and Liam, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.

Marie will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Sunday 19th January, 2025 from 4pm until conclusion of the Rosary at 6pm. Marie’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 20th January, 2025 at 11am in St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy. Burial afterwards in St Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy.
