The death has occurred of
Marie Currie
(née Byrne)
CURRIE (née Byrne) MARIE, East Wall, Dublin 3 (formerly of Sheriff Street, Dublin 1), passed away peacefully on the 17th January, 2026 at Care Choice Nursing Home Malahide Road, Dublin surrounded by her devoted family.
Pre-deceased by her dearest sister Pauline and brothers Larboy and Willie.
Marie will be deeply missed by her loving children Glenn and Edel, treasured grandchildren Emma, Seán and Evie, her dearest partner Joe, son-in-law Nik, daughter-in-law Anita, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, a large extended family, many lifelong friends and valued neighbours.

THURSDAY 22nd January 2026 from 3pm to 5pm
Funeral Mass will take place on FRIDAY 23rd January 2026 at 9.30am
St. Joseph's Church, East Wall, Dublin 3
Followed by a Cremation Service to celebrate Marie's life at Glasnevin Crematorium, Old Finglas Road, Dublin 11
