Marie Delahunt

Predeceased by her sister Essie, brothers Billy and Mick.

The death has occurred on March 31st 2025 of Marie Delahunt, née Buggle RIP, late of her daughters home, Blackhill, Kill, Co. Kildare and previously Castlewarden, and Ardclough, Co Kildare.

Beloved wife and best friend of Brendan, surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of the doctors and nurses of Naas General Hospital.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Brendan, daughter Siobhan, son Padraig, son-in-law Christy, her adored grandchildren Jamie, Barry, Jack and Aoife, her brothers Johnny and Tomsie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

A special thanks to all those who provided a friendship with care from Manor Home Care, HSE, Kill Medical Centre and Kill Pharmacy.

Marie will be reposing at Sallins Funeral Home, Chamney Court, W91DXC8 on Friday 4th April from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Saturday 5th April to St. Brigid's Church, Kill, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery.

Marie had a favourite which she endeavoured to wear everyday. Her wish was if you choose to attend her final journey to wear something pink, even something as small as a ribbon.
