ENGLISH (née Delahunty) (Sallynoggin and formerly of Oliver Plunkett Road, Monkstown Farm, Co. Dublin) – August 20th 2020 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff in the Acute Stroke Unit at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Marie; dearly beloved wife of 58 years to Fred, much loved mother of Elaine and Olywn. Remembered with love and laughter by her granddaughters Emeir and Sophie and great-granddaughter Emily. Loving sister of Toddy, Rita, Joe, Margaret, Michael, Doreen and (twin sister) Ann, predeceased by brothers and sisters Dermot, Jenny, Teenie, Peter, Paul and Jimmy. Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughter, son-in-law Ken, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Elaine’s home (Glenageary) on Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm.  The English family invite those of you who feel comfortable to attend the home to share a memory and pay your respects to Marie and her family and please wear face coverings. Removal on Monday morning to St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown arriving at 10.50am. Funeral immediately after 11am Requiem Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, D6W HY98.

In accordance with Government guidelines on public gatherings, Marie’s Requiem Mass will be strictly limited to 50 persons (all must wear face coverings).
