Marie FITZSIMMONS
(née Dillon)
Marie Fitzsimmons (née Dillon) of Bray, Co. Wicklow, formerly of The Scalp Service Station, Kilternan, Co. Dublin and Millbrook House, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday 19th December, 2023, in her 88th year, in the loving care of Tara Care Centre, Bray. Predeceased by her husband Richard, brothers Sean, Joe and Patrick and sister Eithne. She will be sadly missed by her children Conor, Bernard, Ruth and Olaf, daughters-in-law Anne, Marguerite and Rachel, son-in-law Tomás, by her 11 adored grandchildren Lucy, Zoë, Sam and Annie, Lorcán and Cathal, Alex and Kate, Isla, Maia and Cameron and by her extended family and friends.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (Dec.21) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (Dec.22) at 11.00am in St. Fergal’s Church, Ballywaltrim, Bray, followed by burial in Priestnewtown Cemetery, Kilquade, Co. Wicklow.
