Marie Flatley
(née Corbett)

Revagh Road, Salthill, Galway

Marie died peacefully on Sunday, 6 July, 2025, in the excellent care of the staff at the Galway Hospice, with her son's by her side. Deeply loved and mourned by her husband John, brother Joe and sister Anne, children Owen, Helen and Simon, partners Michelle, Terence and Louisa, and also by her adored grandchildren Naoise, Aaron, Liam and Zoe. Marie will be fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law Frank, Phonsie, Tom, Heinz and Michael, sisters-in-law Jean and Bridget, and her relatives and friends. Marie is predeceased by her sisters Cecily and Laura.

Funeral Arrangements

Tuesday, July 08, 2025, Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.

Wednesday, July 09, 2025, Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Marie at 12 noon. Cremation Service to follow at 4 p.m. Livestream link for Mass below.
