(née Swords)

Marie Geoghegan (nee Swords), Clondriss, Bracklyn, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, 17th December 2024, peacefully after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by her heart broken family and in the loving care of Br. John, Fr. Monks and the caring staff of St.Camillus Nursing Home, pre deceased by her parents Christopher and Elizabeth Swords, late of Turin Cross.

Marie will be forever cherished by her devoted husband and best friend, Richard (Dickie), and her family; sons David and Richie, daughters Irene, Susie, Brenda and Laura. Sons in law Dave, Bernard and Ger, daughters in law Geraldine and Tricia, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, Peter and Richie. Sisters, Eva (Boyle), Connie (Reilly) and Pauline (McAnaney), Dickie's sister Mary, her brothers in law and sisters in law. Fr. Smith, P.P. Turin, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel (Eircode N91VF51), Killucan this Thursday evening, the 19th of December, from 4pm followed by prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass Friday, the 20th of December, at St. Joseph’s Church, Turin, (N91TW44) at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
