The death has occurred of Marie Heavey (née Griffin) Rathcormack, Kildalkey Co. Meath. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness bourne with great dignity and tenacity. Predeceased by her parents Coleman and Monica and her son-in-law Kierán. Marie will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband John, son's Paul and Séan, daughter's Monica, Noelle, Lisa and Mairéad, sons-in-law Neil, Jim and Stephen, daughter-in-law Clodagh, her 12 adored grandchildren, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and all her great neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Mullen's Funeral Home Athboy (C15 KW58) on Wednesday evening at 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning leaving her residence arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am in St. Dympna's Church, Kildalkey followed by burial in St. Dympna's Cemetery.

The Heavey family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Cowzer and his Oncology team in the Mater Hospital, Dr Ryan and all the staff in Athboy Medical Center, Meath Palliative Care Team, The Irish Cancer Society and Monica Fox (Public Health Nurse) for all their kindness, care and compassion throughout Marie's illness.
