The death has occurred of Marie Heffernan (née Dennis), Knocknahattin, Athboy Co.Meath. Marie passed away peacefully in her 90th year in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, parents Molly and Bill, and brothers Paddy and Tucker. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Audrey (Cusack) and Jeannette (Doherty), son Joe, grandchildren Laurence, Charlene, Joss, Megan, Shaw, Shauna and Jack, their partners Aoife, Darragh, Ashling, Coleman and Sinead, great-grandchildren L-Jay, Charlie, Cadence, Caolan, Céilim, Sonny, Aoibhí, Cody, Sammy and Oran, sons-in-law Larry and Sean, daughter-in-law Antoinette, sister Alice, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

May Marie Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, O'Growney St., Athboy (C15 KW58), from 3pm until 6pm this Sunday afternoon. Removal on Monday morning leaving her residence arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am in St. James' Church, Athboy, followed by burial in St. James' Cemetery.

The Heffernan family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ryan and his Staff in Athboy Family Practice and to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of The Elm Ward in Connolly Hospital and The Buttersteam Unit in St. Joseph's Community Nursing Unit, Trim for the exceptional care and kindness given to their mother throughout her stay with them.
