MARIE HIGGINS
(née FOOLKES)

Mahon, Cork / Ballyphehane, Cork

HIGGINS (Mahon and formerly of Ballyphehane): On November 18, 2025, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, in the presence of her loving family, MARIE (née FOOLKES), Beloved wife of Eddie, adored and cherished mother of Amanda (Counihan) and dear sister of the late George. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, daughter, son-in-law Alan, her adored grandchildren Ellie and Leon, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Friday (November 21) from 5pm to 6pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Saturday (November 22) at 10am in Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane which will be live streamed HERE

 

Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
