Tiernaglohane, Cooraclare, Kilrush, Co Clare

Marie (née Downes) 30th June 2025 (Tiernaglohane, Kilrush, Co.Clare) died unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved wife of Gerard, loving mam to Geraldine, David and Mark, sadly and deeply missed by her husband and her children, daughters-in-law Clair and Miriam, her adored grandkids Lily, Stephen, Halle and Harper, brothers, Joe, Tadhg and Christopher, sisters, Carmel, Rose and Helen, brothers-in -law, Gerard, Frank, Michael Noel and Paddy, sisters-in-law, Mary, Jenny and Theresa, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Also predeceased by her parents Joe and Peggy Downes.

Always loved and never forgotten.

 

 

Marie will repose at Cooraclare Church on Wednesday evening July 02nd 2025 from 6pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass at 1pm Thursday 3rd July 2025 followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 4pm.
