The Death has occurred recently of Marie Drake Kiernan, 283 Wensley Road, Cooley Park Reading, Berks. U.K. and formerly of Fairyhill, Kanturk, Co Cork, Ireland. Marie passed away peacefully on the 5thJanuary 2025 in the presence of her loving family, and in the tender care of her Carers and Medical Staff, at the Royal Berks Hospital Reading. U.K. Preceded by her late husband Brian Kiernan, parents Jack and May Drake, her brothers Din Joe and John Paul, sisters Nell O'Mahony, U.S.A and Peg Sheahan, Kilcorney.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters Geraldine, Louise, son Chris and their families, her sister Phil Drake Duggan, Gurteen, Kanturk and brother Charlie Drake, Dromtarriffe, nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, grandnieces and grandnephews and a very large circle of friends on both sides of the Irish Sea.
Marie was laid to rest beside her late husband Brian in the Henley Road Cemetery. All Hallows Road, Caversham, Reading U.K. RG4 5LP.
