LEAHY (Melbourn Close, Donnybrook, Douglas and Boherbue, Co. Cork): On September 8th 2025, unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Cork University Hospital, MARIE (née O’ Connor), dearly beloved wife of the late David (Dave) Leahy, adored mother of Bríd (Crewe), Diane, David, Tony, Helen (McGowan), Louise (Roche), loving sister of Breda and the late Eileen, Connie and Peggy, cherished grandmother of Chloe, Katie, Emma, David, Pádraig, Dominic, Bobby, Tiernan, Oliver, Molly, Jack, Simon, Joey, Eoghan, Emily, Marie, Ciarán and Daniel.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Tiernan, Kevin and Paddy, daughters-in-law Zsuzsi and Lorraine, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (September 11th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Friday (September 12th) in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas which will be live streamed on

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy for cremation service at 3.00pm which will be live streamed
