MARIE T. LYNE (née Shiels), North Road, Castletownbere, Co.Cork passed away peacefully on the 23rd of September 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by her husband John. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving children David, Patrick, Dympna, Andrew and Henry, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Harrington’s Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Thursday (25th) from 6pm - 8pm followed by removal to her home.


HOUSE PRIVATE.


Requiem mass will take place in The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere on Friday (26th) at 11am followed by burial in St.Mary’s Cemetery in Droum. Link to view funeral mass below. Funeral cortège will leave Marie’s home at approximately 10.30am. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to the Irish Cancer Society.
