(née Colclough)

OTT (Née Colclough) Marie (Mary). Coole Haven, Gort, Co. Galway and late of Navan, Co. Meath, Killiney, Dublin and Canada. Peacefully, in the tender care of the wonderful staff of the Clarinbridge Care Centre on the 25th of March, 2026.

Pre-deceased by her parents Paddy and Norah, by her sister Carmel, brother Jim and husband Arvid.

Marie will forever be in the hearts of her loving family. Cherished and much loved she will be sadly missed by her daughter Carmel (Ardrahan), son-in-law Declan Spelman and by her adored grandson Mark. Fondly remembered by her sister Anne Little (Dublin), brothers Paddy (Dublin) and Eamonn (Galway), by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, great friends, neighbours and by all her extended family.

May Her Kind And Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Marie's Funeral cortège will be arriving at St. Colman’s Church, Gort (H91 K228) on Thursday evening March 26th at 6.30pm, followed by evening prayers. Requiem Mass for Marie will be celebrated on Friday March 27th at 10.30am. Marie will be laid to rest afterwards in Labane Cemetery. The funeral mass will not be live-streamed.

The family deeply appreciate your kindness, love and support at this time. We thank all who cared for Marie over the years, especially Dr. Maura Piggott, all at Gort Family Practice, all the amazing staff at Clarinbridge Care Centre and her devoted carers especially Patricia. Finally, a special word of thanks to our wonderful family, neighbours and friends for all they have done for us over these difficult days.
