Marie McCarthy
(née Cotter)
McCarthy (Curraheen Village, formerly Lisavaird, Clonakilty and Scoil Eoin, Ballincollig) On September 19th 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving and much loved family; Marie (née Cotter), beloved wife of Pat, loving mother of Imelda, Padraig, Veronica, Eithne, Carmel and Carthach, sister of Eileen and the late Kathleen. Devoted grandmother of Joseph, Adam, Conor, JP, Caragh, Aisling, Éanna, Éabha, Daniel, Sinéad, Sarah, Naoise, Diarmuid, Fionn and Alisa, great grandmother of Ilyas. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandson, sons-in-law Alan, Aziz and William, daughters-in-law Georgina and Fiona, sister Eileen, brother-in-law Harry, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home on Monday evening. Visitation at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Tuesday (20th September) from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (21st) at 12noon at the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen which can be viewed on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs9gOQ24jUNFfWfzqvwWqqQ. Burial afterwards at St Oliver’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, to Marymount.
