Marie McCOY
(née Aherne)
McCOY (née Aherne) Marie (Dublin 9 and formerly of Ringsend, Dublin 4) April 4, 2020. Peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff of the Fairview Unit, c/o Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of Austin, loving mother of Margaret, Stephen and Mary and beloved sister of Brian, Paddy, Sean, Breda and the late Liam and Larry. Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren Hannah and Shane, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place. Those who wish to, may leave a message of condolence in the “Condolences” section below on this www.rip.ie page. A memorial Mass to celebrate her life will take place at a later date. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to the Fairview Unit, c/o the Mater Hospital Foundation, 54 Eccles Street, Dublin 7 or at https://www.materfoundation.ie. House private.
