Marie McDonagh

The death has occurred of Marie McDonagh (nee Carroll) of Milton, Corbally, Limerick. April 14th 2020 peacefully in the loving and kind care of the doctors and nurses of St. Peter’s Ward, St. John's Hospital, Limerick, in her 86th year. Beloved only daughter of the late Mary (Molly) and Michael Carroll. Pre-deceased by her adoring husband Detective Garda P.J. McDonagh (previously of Henry St. Crime Office). Marie will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Mary, Jean, Debra and her son, Pat (Detective Garda, D.D.U. Finglas), grandchildren Shannon, Keith, Kate, Donna and P.J. and greatgranddaughters Claire and Rose, her sons-in-law Jan- Willem and Eugene and her daughter-in-law Summy. Marie will also be sadly missed by all her neighbours and wide circle of friends and especially her best friend Mary McGrath who was so good to her.

May she rest in peace.

Removal will take place to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery this Thursday 16th April 2020. En-route will pass Milton, Corbally Road at 1pm. Please ensure government guidelines are maintained with regards to social distancing.

When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Marie’s life and will hold a full funeral service to which everyone will be welcome.
