MURPHY née Hickey, MARIE, City Centre (formerly of Old Waterford Street), a proud Dublin 1 lady all her life, passed away peacefully at The Mater Hospital Dublin surrounded by her devoted family.

 

Pre-deceased by her husband and best friend Mikey (05.2019), her parents Joseph and Kitty, brothers and sisters.

 

Marie will be deeply missed by her loving children Michael, Derek, Sandra, Anita and Ciarán, treasured grandchildren, cherished great-grandchildren, brother, sisters, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, a large extended family, lifelong friends, good neighbours and special mention to all those who will fondly remember Marie as the lady that fed them all when they were youngsters in The Holy Child Pre-School for nearly 40 years something Marie really enjoyed doing and was very proud of.

Funeral Mass will take place on FRIDAY 16th May 2025 at 11am

Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Sean McDermott Street, Dublin 1

Followed by a Burial Service at Glasnevin Cemetery (St. Paul’s Graveyard), Old Finglas Road, Dublin 11
