The death has occurred of Marie Shanahan (née Conway), Doughmore, Doonbeg, Co. Clare on September 13th, 2024, peacefully at home, after a long illness bravely borne. Loving and devoted wife of Kevin, wonderful mother to Nuala (Conway), Aideen (O' Mahoney), Deirdre (O'Dwyer), Brian, Maeve (Keavey), Noreen (Burke) & Caitriona (Barry).

Predeceased by her brothers Brendan & James. Sister of Michael & Sr Kathleen Conway. Sister-in-law to Carmel, Kathy, Marion & Joan, Mother-in-law to Declan, Kieran, Niall, Denise, Declan, Joe & Paudie. Proud Nana to Niamh, Seán, Cian, Aisling, Órla, Norah, MaryKate, Ellie, Joe, Kevin, Abbi, Lucy, Rory, Cillian, Ronan, Gearóid, Donnacha, Cormac, Maisie, Tom & Ayda. Regretted by her nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Reposing in The Church of our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Doonbeg (Eircode V15 A895), on Sunday, September 15th from 6pm until 7.30pm with funeral mass on Monday, 16th at 11am followed by burial in Clohanes Graveyard.
