Marie-Therese (Terry) Sweetman (née Whelan), Deansgrange, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. 1st May 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness in the gentle care of the staff at the Beacon Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Larry and adored mother to Lorcán, Lisa, Eamonn, Sandra, Paul and Patrick.

Sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-law Jules, Niamh, Anne and Babs, sons-in-law Dave and Fergal, her beloved grandchildren Arran, Riain, Caoimhe, Jordan, Lia, Arianna, Lochlann, Scott, Eoghan, Christian, Eimear, Ruby, Conor, Ellie-Mae and Theo, great-grandson Ben, her treasured sister-in-law Rena, god-daughter Jackie, niece Anne-Marie and all the Whelan family. Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Patrick, brothers Jack, Des, Don, Paddy, Ray and sister Betty.

Reposing at her home on Monday 5th May from 4pm to 7pm, house private outside these hours. Removal on Tuesday to Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, arriving for reception prayers at 10.40am followed by Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu to Irish Cancer Society. Terry’s family would like those attending the funeral to wear bright colours please, no black.
