The Rise, Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly of Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and Howth Road, Dublin.

Peacefully at home in her 103rd year with her son at her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ludwig. Dearly loved mother of Brendan. Marie will be sadly missed by her loving family, her grandson Sean, daughter-in-law Irene, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

Reposing in St. Anthony's Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway, on Wednesday 28th January from 5pm. Removal at 7pm into the Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Marie on Thursday 29th January at 12noon. A private cremation service will take place in Shannon Crematorium.
