Marie WALSH

Marie Walsh of Newgardens, Athy Road, Carlow, passed away suddenly but peacefully, on January 21st, 2026 at her home.

 

Beloved sister of Bernie, Carmel, Peter and Eddie and much loved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary

 

She will be sadly missed by her loving brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law John and Pat, sisters-in-law Mary and Margaret, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May Marie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

Marie will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home Shamrock Sq., Carlow (R93 C863) on Sunday January 25th from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm that evening.

Removal from there on Monday morning at 9.45am, to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
