Marie Walsh

St. Finbarr’s Terrace, Bohermore, Galway. Formerly of Cooke’s Terrace.

On the 22nd December 2025, Marie had the most peaceful death at University Hospital Galway. Her passage from this world was beautifully eased by all who attended her final chapter. Deepest gratitude to all the staff of St. Teresa’s Ward, who proved exceptional to all of us at this delicate time.

Pre-deceased by her parents Andy and Margaret, and her brother Peter.

Beloved wife of Paul and dearly loved sister of John, Michael, Geraldine, Bernie and Andrew. Marie will be deeply missed by her husband Paul and her loving family, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Goddaughter Sharon Murray and Godson David Walsh, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, her neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing in Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786) on Sunday 28th December from 4pm until 5.30pm. A private cremation service will take place in Shannon Crematorium on Monday 29th December.
