Marion Carlyle
(née Merrigan)

Marion Carlyle (Greystones, Co. Wicklow) – January 13th, 2025.

Marion passed away in the gentle and exceptional care of Mr. Michael Boland and the team of the Hawthorn Unit at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved hero David Arthur, her parents John and Catherine and brothers Robert, Joseph and Noel.

Darling mother to David, Sharon, Victoria and Zelda and cherished friend to their partners.

Marion leaves behind a legacy of love and pride towards her nine grandchildren, Elliot, Marcus, Stephanie, Zach, Ben, Calvin, Zara, George and Sebastian. Marion will be greatly missed by her brothers and the extended Carlyle and Merrigan families, especially her rock Alan and his wife Ann, also her many dear friends and wonderful neighbours. We, Marion’s children, would like to acknowledge the special care given to our dear mum by Mr. Michael Boland, the ICU team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital and the National Ambulance Service.

 

Shalom until we meet again for more “golden days”

 

A Remembrance Service will take place on Saturday (Jan 18th) at 4pm in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium.
