Marion Murphy
(née O'Mahony)
Murphy (Castletownshend and Union Hall): On October 12th 2025 in her 93rd year, peacefully in the tender care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of Skibbereen Community Hospital, and in the presence of her loving family, Marion (née O’Mahony), beloved wife of the late John (Jackie) Murphy and devoted mother of Anne (Hawkins), Teresa (Bloomfield), Colette and June (Ring). Deeply regretted by her daughters, sons-in-law Joe, Scott, Austin and David, precious nana to Jacqueline, Daniel, Kal, Aisling, Katie, Ciara and Niamh and great-grandmother to Lily, Donie and Maisie, relatives, kind neighbours and her many close and dear friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Tuesday, 14th October from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 15th October at 12noon in St. Brigid’s Church, Union Hall which will be live-streamed on the Funeral Service link below. Funeral immediately afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery. Messages of sympathy for Marion’s family can be left on the condolences link below.
