Marion O’Grady (née Hegarty) - Gurtinard Listowel (formerly Knocknagree, Co. Cork) November 30, 2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family after an illness bravely bourne with courage & dignity. Pre-deceased by her husband James O’Grady, her father Martin and her brother Brian. Marion will be deeply missed & forever in the hearts of her heartbroken family - her mother Celia, brother Matthew, sisters Fiona & Aislinn, sister-in-law Shelagh Hegarty, brother-in-law John Herlihy, nephews TJ, Greg, Peter, Nathan and niece Jemma, aunts, relatives, great neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Heartfelt thanks to the many wonderful healthcare professionals who looked after Marion’s medical, oncology and palliative needs. In particular, the team at John F. Maguire Pharmacy Listowel and Dr. Dominic Lehane at Tarbert Medical for their constant support. Special thanks to Marion’s Palliative Care Nurses Gráinne Murphy and Carmel Ward.

To Joan and Tom O’Donnell and Fr. Martin Hegarty, your unwavering support will never be forgotten.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

House private please; but open to family and close friends from 3-5pm on Sunday 1st December. Leaving her residence at 11:00am Monday December 2nd to arrive at Christ the King Church Knocknagree at 12:40pm for 1pm Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery,
