On December 5th 2023, suddenly, at his residence.
Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Renata, mother Gaida, sister Iveta, niece Alise, close cousins Ervins and Ivars, other cousins and friends in Ireland and Latvia.

Arriving at St. John's Cathedral, Cathedral Place, on Saturday, December 9th, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am, after this Maris's Remains will be repatriated to Latvia, where he will be laid to rest at a later date.
