The death has occurred of Mark Candon, Butterfield, Rathfarnham and formerly of Riverstown, Sligo, who passed away suddenly on October 1st, 2025. Beloved husband of Mary, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years. Deeply loved and sadly missed father of Aidan (deceased) Paul and Noel. Cherished Grandad (Papa) to his grandchildren; Karla, Laura, Christina, Rebecca, Steven, Seán, Michael, Marina and Veronika and great-grandson Max. Greatly missed by his sister Róisín Byrne, daughters-in-law Barbara and Orla, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and his wide circle of friends. Mark was predeceased by his brother Joe, and sisters Myra and Pauline.

Mark will repose at home on Sunday October 5th, 2025 from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 6th, 2025 at 10:30am in Terenure College Chapel, followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery. The Funeral Mass may be viewed online via the link below.
