Mark Davies

Mark Davies (Kenmare) at 8am on the 7th of August, 2021, in the warm care of St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Mark died peacefully in his sleep after a difficult battle with cancer. Throughout the past few months, Mark constantly expressed his gratitude for the support of his adoring family and friends. He was so appreciative for those sending their love from both near and far, and for those who helped to fill his last months with the humour which he so cherished.

With that, we would like to extend the invitation to those who loved and knew Mark (also known as 'Dark Mavis' or Unc') to come together in honour of his passing. Mark will be reposing at O'Connor's Funeral Home, Kenmare, from 6.00pm - 7.00pm on Tuesday (August 10th). The cremation and civil ceremony will be at 2.00pm on Wednesday (August 11th) at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork which will be live streamed on https://www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/. Mark will be so missed by those who knew him, who were touched by his heart of gold and his razor-sharp wit.
