Mark Desmond
It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Desmond, Allen Square, Bandon announces his untimely passing.
On July 31st 2025, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his heartbroken family, Mark (Eli Lilly), loving partner of Donna McCarthy, adoring father of Kynan, Noah, Zoe, Sam and Tommy, his precious grandchildren Brody and Sadie, parents John and Margaret (Fullam), brothers Patrick and David, sister Aoife, brother-in-law Alan McSweeney, sisters-in-law Jean and Fiona, Kynan's partner Kayla McCarthy, uncles, aunts, extended families and his large circle of friends and neighbours.
Mark will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Sunday from 5pm followed by prayers at 8pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
