Mark McGuinness

 

Mark (Buffo) McGuinness (Greek Street, Dublin 7) passed away on 17th December, 2025, after a bravely fought illness, surrounded by his loving family and friends in St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Pre-deceased by his father Christopher, his sister Kim and Geoffrey.

 

Mark will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Renee, his daughter Jessica, son Dylan, their mam Rhona, granddaughter Lucia, brothers Daniel and Derek, aunts Marion and Pessy, uncle Fran, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Also missed by his great friends Snowy, Norman, Markie and Georgie and his close circle of friends and neighbours.

 

Reposing at his mother’s home on Thursday 18th December from 6pm. Prayers will take place on Friday 19th at 7pm.

 

Mark’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 20th December at 11am. In The Church of St. Mary of the Angels, Church Street followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
