Peacefully, surrounded by his heartbroken but devoted family, in the kind and gentle care of the doctors and nurses at Louth County Hospital. Mark was a devoted and loving husband to Laura (McCoy), a proud and adoring dad to his treasured daughters, Elli and Penny, who were the absolute centre of his world. A true family man, Mark lived his life with warmth, humour and kindness. He took great joy in the simple pleasures of life, time spent with his family, sharing laughs with friends, and making memories that will be cherished forever.
Pre-deceased by his father Luke and brother-in-law David. Mark will be sadly missed and forever loved by his wife, daughters, mother Kathleen, sister Catriona, niece Amy, nephew Keith, brothers-in-law Alan, Owen and Kenneth, sisters-in-law June and Pauline, his extended family, wide circle of friends, neighbours, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, gentle nature and love of life will remain in the hearts of many.

Mark will repose at Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 PV07) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon at 12.30pm to St. Joseph’s Redemptorists Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium at 3.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Cara Cancer Support Centre, Dundalk (donation box at Funeral Home). House Strictly Private at all times. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Niall E.
