Marlene Pires de Moraes

Formerly of Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil

 

On November 11th, 2025, Marlene passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital with her two loving granddaughters by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Ademar Do Val de Souza, her much loved son Luiz Cesar Pires de Moraes and her cousin Ana Maria.

Marlene will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her granddaughters Natasha de Moares Morita and Janaina de Moraes Barbosa, grandsons-in-law Arthur Kintaroo Morita and Diego Barbosa and by her adored great-grandchildren Arthur Luiz, Jade Natsu, Iris and Lara.

Fondly remembered with great love and affection by her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousin Andrea Porto, her husband Nelson Porto and their daughters, extended family member Rodrigo Barbosa and friends.

Funeral Arrangements:

Thursday 13th November, 2025 : Reposing at St.Pio's Room within the Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway from 6.00 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7:00 p.m.

 

Friday 14th November, 2025 :

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Marlene at 11:30 a.m. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
