Marretta Atkinson
(née Crean)

Atkinson (O'Mahony Avenue, Bandon) on February 18th 2023 peacefully in the Bon Secours Hospital Cork and surrounded by her loving family. Marretta (nee Crean) (late of Kevin O'Leary's), beloved wife of Harold, dear mother of Karl, adored grandmother of Sophie and Emma, daughter of John and the late Essie and sister of the late Sandra.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter-in-law Susanne, granddaughters, father, brothers and sisters Ann, Kathleen, Helen, John, Esther and Ian, mother-in-law Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.

Marretta will be lying in repose at Esther's residence in "Apple Tree Cottage", Crossmahon (eircode P72W542) on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live/, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Deirdre O'Mahony and her team in the Bon Secours Hospital Cork, the Staff of St. Bernadette's Ward and St. Veronica's Day Ward for the wonderful care, compassion and kindness shown to Marretta over the past 14 months.
