Martha Quinlan
(née Fitzell)
QUINLAN (Coorydorrigan, Schull, Co. Cork and late of Tralee, Co. Kerry): on December 7th 2023 peacefully after a short illness under the loving care of Bantry General Hospital. MARTHA (nee Fitzell) (retired N.T.). Sadly missed by her husband of 56 years Gerald and brother Charles. Loving mother of Mary, Maurice, Norah (Blandin), Billy and John, daughter-in-law Suzanne, sons-in-law Christian and Scott. Dearly loved by her granddaughters Fiona, Aoife, Sínead and Ayisha, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, many friends, wonderful neighbours, carers, past pupils, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home (P81 F440) on Sunday, December 10th 2023, from 1pm to 5pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, December 11th 2023, at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Schull, this will be livestreamed via https://corklivestream.com/funerals, followed by private Cremation at a later date.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Schull Community Hospital.
