Martin died peacefully, on Sunday August 25, 2024 following a short illness, in the gentle care of the staff of the ICU and HDU departments at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Úna, and by his brothers Séan, Kieran and Pádraig.

He will be sadly missed and deeply mourned by his wife Margaret, daughter Tracy, son Conor, sister Maura, brothers Tom and Rory, son-in-law Ryan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, the extended Connolly and Cullinane family and friends.

Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra on Wednesday, August 28., from 5.00 p.m. Martin will be received in the Church at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Martin on Thursday, August 29 at 11.30 a.m. Private Cremation to follow. House private please.
