Martin Cummins

Martin died peacefully in his home in the loving care of his family after a short illness, on February 12th 2025. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary. Martin will be sadly missed and always remembered with love by his family, his loving wife and best friend Marlene, his cherished daughter Susanne and sons Tom, David and Stephen, daughters-in-law Sheila, Aisling and Danielle, son-in-law John, his adored grandchildren Isaac, Darragh, Zoe, Kate, Cara, Arthur and Hugo, sister Ann, brothers Pat and Tom, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, aunt-in-law Helena, nieces, nephews, relatives, all his wonderful neighbours and dear friends.

Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true,
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.

Martin will repose in Our Lady’s Manor Chapel, Edgeworthstown, N39 VR04 on Saturday 15th from 3 o’clock concluding with prayers at 5 o’clock. Removal from his home on Sunday 16th to arrive to Carrickedmond Church, N39 RT21 for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock. Following Mass, Martin will be laid to rest in the family plot in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
