Martin Darcy

The death has occurred of Martin Darcy, Saint Cormac’s Park, Kilcormac, Offaly, and formerly of Portland, Lorrha, Tipperary, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, infant daughter Margaret, sisters and brothers, grandsons baby Sean and baby Conor.
Martin will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, children Martin, Bernadette, John, Majella and Enda, daughters in-law Geraldine Darcy and Caroline Moran, sons-in-law David Buckley and Ger Hegarty, beloved grandchildren Trevor, Niall, Eóin, Cathal, Aisling, Molly, Gráinne, Caoimhe, Gearóid, Áine, Ciara, Diarmuid, Grace, Cillian, Emma and Maeve, great grandchildren Conor and Jack, sister Ber Carroll, nieces, nephews, cherished neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Martin is reposing in Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, (R42 YF75) Tuesday evening (December 16th) at 5 o'clock with rosary at 8pm. Funeral mass will take place Wednesday (December 17th), at 12 noon in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Kilcormac, followed by burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery.
